Emma is a documentary filmmaker from Mesa, Arizona, whose work leans toward lyrical and experimental expressions. Through an observational and ethnographic lens, she seeks to further examine where portraits of female resilience intersect with individual efforts to cultivate familial and communal traditions, language, religions, and folklore.
Emma recently graduated with a BA in Media Arts Studies from Brigham Young University and is a current MFA graduate student at Duke University.
